I have been testing and botting under FreshCoat Layout since 3 months ago and it works just fine like Classic Layout, as of now. Feel free to choose this layout if you wish and just ignore the red warning text on top. In case you wondering on how to change layout, head to Help=>User Preferences=>Tick FreshCoat Layout

hello, thank you so much for the autobot! ive run into a problem, in that suddenly the autobot isnt working/even available for use now.. its doesnt appear at the top of the page anymore but it is still installed under greasemonkey. any idea how i can fix this? ive already tried uninstalling and reinstalling

i assume you are using firefox since you mentioned greasemonkey. the script doesnt support firefox anymore. pls use chrome or opera along with tampermonkey installed. make sure to enable tampermonkey and enable the script under tampermonkey dashboard.

I have a couple of questions, if you are still hanging around.
1. Is this bot liable to breaking after an update or two?
2. Does the King’s Reward solver really work? I had it turned on, but while it says ‘solving,’ it doesn’t seem to
be doing anything. I came in and solved it myself after 4 minutes.

1. That depends. If the code of existing area changed, then it will broke. For example the recent update of FW, the script stopped working as it should after the update because there was code changed in FW by Hitgrab.
2. It works. If you are hunting in HTTP then you should change to HTTPS. And you need to install the KR Solver script too.

If i have time then i wouldnt stop the script development at the first place.
In case the script breaks, it is a good opportunity for users out there to pick up the skill in script development. I learn it all from mr google, i believe you can do the same too, who knows you outperform me 😉

1. Ah, I didn’t realize that you have to install a separate script.
2. I generally don’t tinker with the settings because I am bad at computers and I am afraid of breaking something, so idk about changing traps and cheese and the like during high level hunting. What I am most concerned about is the core feature of the bot, namely the “horn every 15 minutes no matter where you are hunting” part of it. Can it break in the future?
Thank you for you contributions to the MH community. Sadly, there probably wouldn’t be anyone taking after you, since the MH community is small, and the number of people capable, willing and disciplined enough to program a bot is so much smaller too.
Personally, I am a college student who doesn’t really have much time for “real” games, but there is something therapeutic about getting back from a hard day at uni and seeing that you’ve made progress in the game. My approach to the game is more scrapbook collecting than competitive, and you made that possible for me. Good luck with whatever you do in the future. I wish the best for you and your family.

As i said, it will break in the future when Hitgrab did a changes on the codebase.
Im not sure have you been through the age of transition of Mousehunt v2 to v3 (currently is Mousehunt v3.261). The script was totally broke because massive changes was done. So when Mousehunt v4 is happening, do expect the script wouldnt work fine anymore.

Install
1. Main script – https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/5705-mousehunt-autobot-enhanced-edition
2. KR Solver script, if you want to solve KR automatically – https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/13809-mh-auto-kr-solver
things to take note when using KR Solver:
1. KR will not be solve between 00:00 to 06:00 to prevent 24hr botting
2. Always hunt at HTTPS
3. After the script fail to solve KR for 3 times, user has to solve manually ASAP.

Not sure what;s happened to the KR solver, but it does not work at all anymore. When i’m in my hunter camp and i open up tampermonkey, it only shows that the bot script is running and not the KR solver script

It still works, it wouldnt show the bot script in tampermonkey because it only start to run when you encounter KR. Hunter camp without KR will not show KR solver script in tampermonkey.

I dont have any specific tutorial or website in mind, but most of the time i rely on stackoverflow on how to use javascript in development, since it is the only programming language that support browser extension.
Back then I start off my development based on the script by Ooi KS. Making his script as backbone then I added some enhancement such as trap arming.
You can do the same as well, by referring my script as backbone and enhance/add something into the script. But first, you have to know about programming language, mainly javascript. I believe there is a lot of tutorial about javascript online, go through those, understand the basic and concept of javascript then you are good to go.

1. Goto line 6961 and look for preferenceHTMLStr += ”; and you can saw a list of cheese selection below it
2. Then add a new line with preferenceHTMLStr += ‘Cheese Name’;
3. Save your changes and reload the page.
